Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts is a private career college specializing in baking, pastry arts and cake decorating located in mid-town Toronto, Canada. Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, Bonnie Gordon College offer both full-time and part-time programmes as well as seasonal workshops featuring local chefs and alumni.

To bolster BGC’s online presence, Facebook and Instagram has been a crucial tool in both creating a new market and reaching the existing niches. BGC is uniquely positioned as a trusted boutique college with the aim to seeking out individuals who are committed to pursuing excellence in the field of confectionary arts. Our findings confirmed: 80% of their followers are women, 41% of their followers are ages 25-34, and 82% of their followers are in Canada. The end goal was to have reach on an international scale, and what we have seen to be most promising is that 27% of their following is outside of Canada– meaning that there really is a large demand, and it’s growing on an international scale.
